If we are up in the early morning hours, before the sun comes up, we first notice that it is growing less dark as the darkness flees before the approaching dawn. Then we see the first rays of sunlight etched on the morning sky, then more, and suddenly the morning bursts into existence, banishing the darkness.

Faith And The New Day

We can believe in that new day, even at midnight, when there is no outward sign of it. That belief is faith, to believe in something that is not evident. You may say that this isn’t faith, that the day will come whether we believe in it or not. Will we be there to see it? On that we have no guarantee, and we do believe we will see it. However, we may see it on another shore.

Overcome Problems With Prayer And Faith


When you have a problem that overwhelms you, pray and ask God for help, and believe that he will help you overcome it. Believe with confidence in overcoming that problem, and believe it with the same assurance in which you believe in the coming of the new day.

Remember God’s timetable is not the same as ours, the solution you seek may not come at once, but do not doubt, it will come. Keep in mind also that God’s thoughts are not ours, so he may not solve your problem in the way you expect.

Mathew 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, verily I say unto you, If you have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also ye shall say unto this mountain, be removed, and be cast into the sea; and it shall be done.
